Due to continued growth in our commercial practice we are currently seeking a commercial and property lawyer to be based in our Narrabri office.

The role includes all aspects of high-end rural property transactions, financing and structuring transactions, commercial and contractual issues, business sales/purchases and property development. Applicants with experience in these areas will be well regarded.

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.

Webb & Boland Licensed conveyancer or conveyancing paralegal - Moree

We currently looking for a Licensed conveyancer or conveyancing paralegal to work within our Moree team.

This is a full-time or part-time position to commence immediately.

The successful applicant would ideally have conveyancing experience, including the sale and purchase of land. The position offers an opportunity to develop further experience with business transactions, retail/commercial leases and probate work. Webb & Boland provides regular internal training and assists staff in obtaining further qualifications.

Webb & Boland Legal Secretary - Moree

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Legal Secretary.

A position presently exists with our firm for a Legal Secretary to work with our commercial property team.

Applicants with previous Secretarial experience in a Law Firm would be an advantage but not essential. Minimum typing speed of 50wpm. Good communication skills, spelling and grammar are also required in this position.

Webb & Boland Casual Office Assistant - Moree

We currently have a vacancy for a Casual Office Assistant.

We are looking for a confident and friendly person to join our Moree office in an Office Assistant role.

The successful candidate will be required to work the set hours of 9.00am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday and will be required to observe our strict confidentiality obligations.

Some of the daily activities you will perform include:-

  • Greeting visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Handling and directing incoming calls and passing on messages.
  • Co-ordinate online meeting room booking requests.
  • Schedule and monitoring of incoming and outgoing courier bookings.
  • Distribution and sorting of incoming/outgoing mail including deliveries.
  • Scanning, photocopying, printing, collating documents.
  • Ensuring all internal stationery supplies and grocery items are adequately stocked.
  • Court filing and document delivery to court or client premises.
  • Assisting with any additional administrative duties as necessary and ad hoc facilities office support.

    2023 - 2024

    3rd year and above law students are invited to apply for the Webb & Boland 2023/2024 Summer Clerkship Role.

    Working with us

    As a summer clerk, you will be based in our Moree office during the University Christmas holidays (generally from early November until Australia Day). You will undertake rotations across our primary practice groups and you will obtain invaluable experience working within a friendly yet very busy office environment.

    You will be supported and supervised by Brendan Moylan who will act as your partner mentor over the summer. Like all of our partners Brendan is very approachable and he has supervised numerous summer clerks over the years, many of whom are now employed as solicitors with our firm.

    The Clerk position is paid in accordance with the Legal Services Award.

    Some of the roles that you will undertake include;

    • Legal research

    • Attending client meetings

    • Attending court with our solicitors

    • Attending site visits for Land and Environment Court matters (these site visits can be anywhere across NSW)

    • Assisting in the briefing of Counsel

    • Calendar organisation

    • Generally assisting our solicitors with various tasks as required
